Hello everyone,
A friend of mine introduced me to this forum. I have a big passion for writing, I tend to write many things--be it novels, short stories, diaries, peoms... I never seem to stop myself whenever an idea strikes my head. I've shown many friends of mine some pieces of what I wrote, and they were very astonished and cheered me on. Then came this friend that said "Hey, you ought to try posting some of your stuff in a forum!" I shrugged, telling him that I really don't mind the idea, it's just that I don't know of any good forum with regular people, and it was then that I got this forum's address. So here I am ( ^o^)~♪
My name's Yaseen (or Yan for short, people call me Monamy or Mon for screen name... but feel free to call me whatever you like lol), 23 years old, I'm a graduate from the University of Bahrain, my field is English Language and Literature - Minor Translating. I used to work with the UNDP (United Nation Development Program) and the NNGOSC (National Non-governmental Organizations Support Center), but now I'm working with the Ministry of Education, and I noticed myself not using English much ever since I left the UNDP. I needed some place to practice my English so it doesn't go rusty on me when I need it.
Hope I find the best of company amongst everyone here, remember that I'm looking for critiques and points of views so be generous and give me as much as you can when I post something I wrote (as long as you feel like it:D).
