you open your heart to me
said you depended on me
you were completely honest
you brought me to my knees

we have only had a couple weeks
to share what we have time to say
althought there are things to learn
to be with you, any price i would pay

you say you love me
and maybe that's true
i wish i could say the same
don't worry, your day is due

i wake up in the morning
and i can't believe i know you
dealing with trash like me?
deserve better, you do

if only i wasn't leaving
i know that we would last
maybe i could love again
life would be a blast

only in my fantasies
do we pass in the halls
but in my reality
you really make me forget it all

you are the first and the last
to pass through my mind
you call me your princess
it makes tears fall from my eyes

i wish i could describe
what you mean to me
you taught me that
i really can be set free

i hope that while i'm away
you find someone to love you
