looking for a poem

didn't find it, realized finally why his name's familiar - he wrote Roberta Flack's "Hey That's No Way to Say Goodbye" - but i did find these:

I think it might be in a book called something like Flowers for Hitler - but I´m not entirely sure.

If you like his poems , I would really recommend " Book of mercy" a book filled with short prose poems. The one you mentioned is not there, though. I checked in my copy.

Well, I've looked around to try and help, but I can't seem to find anything that would help you out.
