All but the last one. I once was moving a dryer with a short in it so the whole thing was hot. I shocked once, then leaned over it to unplug it, got shocked again, kicked it (which shocked me) then finnally jumped on top of it so I wasnt grounded and unplugged it. Ha.

Once, after I had just sharpened a friends knife I was playing with it, and accidentally shut it on my thumb. Being the genius I was, I didn't stop and pull it off, I clamped the rest of my fingers on it so I didn't drop it and dull the knife.

I dropped a knife and tried to catch it.

Ha Ha you guys are funny! It makes me feel better

At work I know where all of the koala's climbing branches are yet continually hit my head on them. There's been more than one occassion where I've had an egg on my head and felt a bit woozy.

Oh and I once cleaned a power outlet with a wet sponge. Yes, I was surprised when I got a shock.

um...I've done all of those things...
And you'd think I'd learn after the first time that it wasn't a good idea...but no.

The last one happened to a friend of mine - he was stage-managing a production I was in, and delivered a long health-and-safety talk warning us not to fall off the stage... and thirty seconds later, down he goes. At least he was man enough to laugh about it after we stemmed the bleeding.

so what else have you done? All of the above, and then some

How about:

Looking up to see a cactus falling from a shelf above you... and catching it (Ouch!)?
Ordering an exceedingly strong chili dish at a restaurant... after witnessing another guest cry out for help after one mouthful?
Going A over T with your bike down an icy hill... after having done the same thing the day before, thinking "This time I'll make it"?

There is more, but this is what I could think of right away.

I did all of the things that are mentioned in the poll , and I think I will do them again ;) Isn't it a good thing to double check? :p

:lol::lol::lol:

I forgot one of my best(?) moments:

Uni science camp, winning a drinking game, getting onto a bench to laugh at the opposition, falling off bench, dislocating and fracturing elbow and not realising until somebody pointed to my arm and said "My God! What is wrong with your arm!?". There she was, swaying in the breeze  It was the middle of the night and we were in the middle of nowhere. They had to drive like 2 hours to get me to hospital, hitting an eagle and a kangaroo on the way.

Now, give me credit on what I'm about to tell you - I was a VERY curious 6-year-old at the time:

I was sitting on a bench, wearing shorts and a T-shirt. I had my knees hugged to my chest, and found that I could pull the T-shirt over my legs, down to my ankles, so that my legs were trapped in the T-shirt along with my body.

Then I started wondering if I could walk with my legs caught in the T-shirt.

Not thinking of getting off the bench, but only of being able to walk thus, I promptly made to get off the bench, forgetting that I hadn't the use of my legs, and I fell FLAT on my face - smashed-in my two front teeth, and cut my lips!!

*sigh* the dentist resolutely said to my mother, as he pulled shards of teeth out of my gums, that I would most definitely have to wear braces, cause my permanant teeth were also damaged...true to word, I wore braces for 5 years of my high school life - all because of 5 seconds of curiousity as a 6-year-old - is that fate or what?!
