Hi amuse,
I like to read all types of books from chick lit to Shakespeare. I ahve just finished reading This Lullaby again for about the 5th time, but I love that book, as I find I can relate to it.
I love Romeo and Juliet, in all forms...play, film and as the book.
I enjoy doing what most teenagers do...shopping with friends and socialising...I do not however stand around the streets drinking cider lol. Especially in the weather we are blessed with in Manchester! I am soon to be leaving school which I am very excited about, and shall be going on to college.
What are your interests amuse? What books do you like?
Thankyou for a nice welcome!

A welcomed jest,is just as well.
I pronounce the fallen fell.
Callamity,catastrophe,casual proximity,
Closer than the farthest past, passing you by.
Life has you where time's leaf, delicance swing mingle.
Good days are few, fewer held closely, all signs of life?
...gone and weeping.

...along for the ride, comes the dawn's forever twister.
All up inside stolen sadness.Quarrallingly guaged.
Never too late to obscenely jest why.
As reasons plumeted kiss, lies softly awake at night.
And a silent room of silence kept locked safe.

love is creation,as you were created out of an act of love,
so was the motion returned and so the sorrow biulds.

Thankyou for a nice welcome!i never heard of The Lullaby; what's it about?

2.i like history books; right now i'm reading Tales from the Tower of London and yesterday checked out Fitz Lee(nephew of Gen. Robert E.) from the library. the author, Edward G. Longacre, also wrote a bio on Gen. Joshua Chamberlain (of Little Round Top fame) so i need to read that at some point. i like lighter reads occasionally, esp. Maeve Binchy, and i love to read about food! my favorites folder is packed!

1. i like to hang out with my friends a lot, i like to read, i love math, i adore poetry, i am mad - ok, slavish - about cats, and i like to learn new things and ask lots of questions and think about/discover lots of stuff. and i like word games and flowers.

I give you a warm welcome to the forum, Miranda.
We have another Miranda on the forum, if I remember correctly, how ironic, but "the more the merrier."
I also love your signature, by the way.

Hi Miranda and welcome. I live not far from you in the North of England. As Mono said there is another Miranda here and this is me which I guess will be a bit confusing, but never mind, I am very good at confusing people all by myself anyway.

Amuse, I just read an unputdownable book about cats and as you are so potty about them I am sure you would love it too. It is also a love story and is called 'Cat Chat' by Helene Thornton. She has a website on the internet but I didn't write down the URL. There are four cats in our house, though we used to have five. For a little while last year, there were seven but three were temporary - not temporarily cats you understand, but only here temporarily. Yes..I can be very confusing.
