Ok so not exactoly teaching, but I am applying for a number of jobs and baout half of them are school libraries, at one of the more intrsting looking schools ( if I get an interview) I have to give a 15 minute presentation on the role of school libraries in the 21st centurey, also it seems tto be a school that really goes in for information literacy and there is even something abouty the librarian running classes on the subject.
Now The question well one of many is just how do teacher interact with school libraries. How would you feel if say the librarian approached you and said , right Im after buying these new books I want your opnion on what would be most seful to you./ How could you better use the library?/ What can the library do to help you?

Sure, it's a teaching question! I was a library-media specialist many of my teaching years, in addition to English and Dramatic Arts. All three are related. When our library-media center was upgraded with a full computer lab, we were able to integrate subject area unit planning well with team teaching. We'd plan units together, and were able to assist students in their research and writing. Then students used the media center to present their projects -- written, visual/Powerpoints or performance.
