I consider myself pretty fluent with the English language, be it the written or spoken word, but here I sit, absolutely lost for words.
O.K.! Where to start? I love languages…but am only proficient in one. I have a well-thumbed Roget’s Thesaurus, dozens of dictionaries (English, German, French, Italian, Zulu and Xhosa, to name a few) as well as my ‘to-die-for’ WordWeb Pro.
I also have dozens of poetry books and spend a lot of my spare time writing in that genre and recently have had some of them published on Writers Lounge.
I am an avid reader and will read anything as long as it is well-written. I love crosswords, Logic Problems and Scrabble which I also have on my computer.
