Honeymoon Misery
Radio''Government officials have announced that wales has been hit by a terrorist attack,
and we have had reports that access to the country has been sealed off because some kind of dirty bomb has been set off, We have been getting reports that this gas is making victims in some sort of hysterics and victims resort to cannibalism , All flights out of the UK have been canceled for the time being, And we are getting reports here in england,''
Will switches the radio off, Katy siting next to him '' Why did you do that? ''
Will now stopping the car at traffic light's looks at his newly wed wife, '' Well it's depressing enough we cant go on our honeymoon because of this terrorist thing, I ain't listening to it on the radio as well,'' as he moves the car off again, Katy sits back in her chair resting her head
'' Well hopefully we can go tomorrow, How far is the motel?''
Will '' The guy at the airport said it was five minutes, Just up here apparently,''
as they drive down the road they can see the neon lights in the close distance,
Katy looks out the window '' I'll stay in the car im to tired and pissed off for this,''
with a glum sad look on her face, they were supposed to be on a flight to Paris now,
booked in at a five star all inclusive hotel with a view from the window looking over the Eiffel tower,
Will doesn't argue and does exactly that he got out of the car and walked through the door and walked to the desk out of Katy's sight, Katy sat in the car in silence no cars around or people it was nearly 10:30pm and the motel is quite some way from the main road so no noisy lorries could wake you up at three in the morning, The motel itself was quite nice it was a pub/motel and was the type with a courtyard and all the doors outside rather than in one big building,
Katy looked across from the motel and saw a man walking around by a drinks machine,
he looked quite old and feeble and very lost he had to be at least seventy she thought maybe he was drunk and just got kicked out of the pub,
But still she couldn't help feeling the need to see if he was ok, she got out of the car and closed the door, she started walking down the gravel drive to get a better look she said in a quiet voice '' excuse me ,,'' someone walked up behind her and touched her arm,
She turned around it was Will '' come on we've got a room,'' smiling Katy got her breath back after the fright of being snuck up on and followed him to number 12, they walked in the room it wasn't quite five star Paris but it was cozy, carpet colour matching with the bed cover an old chair in the corner,
And the bathroom had a nice big bath tub, Will '' Well it'll do until we find out when we can leave for Paris,'' as he sat on the chair in the corner, Katy walking over to look in the bathroom,'' Well suppose it could be worse,''
Will looked at the t.v which was switched off ,'' i tell you what to really top this amazing night off why don't i go and get us a chinese and a bottle of wine?'' Katy looked at the bible sitting on the bedside table wondering how many years its been sat there untouched, ''ok why not we're celebrating after all,''Smiling as she said it sarcastically,
Will walked over to the bag they brought in and pulled out a jumper and put it on,
Katy walked in the bathroom and started running a bath, Will walked through from the bedroom and said '' We drove pass one not so far back im gonna walk there get some fresh air, See you in a bit'' as he smiled at her, '' bye '' Katy said returning the smile,
She poured in some off Oak trees complimentary bubble bath she couldn't help but laugh at that for some reason, She heard Will shutting the door, And for some reason the old man by the drinks machine entered her thoughts,She thought Will might be walking that way,
But she just thought it's been along day she's worrying about nothing, After all ten hours ago she was walking down the aisle, She got in the bath tub and closed her eyes reflecting on her long day, She dunked her head under the warm water, She put some shampoo in her hands and ran her fingers though her hair, She closed her eyes tight and held her breath as she put her head under the water again,
She lifted her head from the water and leaned over the bath tub to grab a towel she put on the floor, she could feel the shampoo suds running down her hair onto her eyelids,
She dried her face and opened her eyes, She saw someone standing there in front of her, she gasped and looked up and saw Will standing there with blood dripping from his neck, His eyes were pale and blank his head was tilted and mouth open showing his teeth,
He dived at Katy with both hands out grabbing her, She struggled and tried pulling his hands off her,Will moved he's head in towards Katy's shoulder as if he wanted to bite her,
Katy know this wasn't Will it was as if he was possessed, She lifted her legs up and kicked Will in the stomach with all her might,
he fell backwards and hit his head on the corner of the sink cracking his skull open, Katy sat still in the bath shaking feeling cold, Couldn't even bring herself to breath out of fear he would wake up and attack her again, But it was her husband and apart of her wanted to go over there hold his hand and help him，
It felt like a dream to her, She felt like she was a person on the outside watching this and it was all made up, She sat there watching the blood dripping from the corner of the sink and landing on her husbands hand for a moment more, Then she got up and climbed out of the bath she walked over to her husband and felt herself gagging she ran to the toilet and was sick,
She got up and walked out of the bathroom and put some clothes on, Her mind ran back to what was on the radio that a gas causes victims to resort in cannibalism she ran over to the t.v and turned it on what was shown on the t.v was more terrible than Katy could ever imagine,
