How can MissScarlett who is one of the nicest people on here get banned, when there are others who are antagonizers, but they aren't? I wonder how long it will be before one of the moderators log on to answer the question?

Yes she did, but now it says Banned where her user title used to be. Also her avatar is gone, her signature, too. Her profile is not changed, except you cannot post any messages there anymore.

I guess we give it 24 hours. Several of us have contacted the moderators...as soon as they have had time to respond...maybe it's just a computer glitch. Then I hope we can get to the bottom of this...

The reaction of Quark is quite understandable. She's not banned. :) It's one where it doesn't even register what happened. I don't want to offend the moderators, whom I like, but I also thought it might be a good idea to create this thread as soon as I noticed this happened, so it wouldn't be addressing it at a much-later date.

I am totally miffed and devasted if she is banned. We had become such good friends and wrote tons of messages both PM's and on her profile page. It must be a mistake. She told me she is not at all contraversial or combative. It has to be some sort of mistake. I am praying it is anyway. I like her so much. She is a very considerate and lovely young lady and interesting in actually discussing literature. She was great so far in the Richard II thread and I was depending on her for the new Lawrence discussion. She was good in the monthly book discussion so far too. I am scratching my head and wondering how in the world this could have happened to such a nice person.

That would only be a cultural morality issue...no one should really have a problem with that...plus, I don't think that she would eat kittens...are they low fat? I think that she said something about not eating a lot of fat...
