I'm just posting this message to say that I'll continue to post poems on litnet, but mainly on my blog from now on.I'll put this on my blog too, but if you don't go to it, then you won't see it. :) I can freely adjust the titles of the poems on the blog, and keep everything all in one place. I also have more control over the poems, and less chance of losing them. Another thing is, many poetry publishers here in NZ don't count poetry placed on a personal blog as previously published, but this probably isn't the case for the main forum. Please free free to make whatever comments you want, whether good or bad. I think there's a wee bit of room for comments on there (thinking about Dori's thread which sparked a long debate on cleavage  ).Of course I will still come here to make comments on poetry too.

Just in case you think this should be somewhere else, here's a few lines:

Patience

I've inherited patience from my father.
A full thimblefull of it,
brimming to burst at the edges,
a bomb, waiting in queues
for a fuse.

I've heard that too. Think I might follow your lead in this Silas!

I love the "thimble-full" of patience. It's a whole lot more than I inherited! LOL
