Does anyone know if the Three Musketeers was originally published in Britain as "The historical romance of Buckingham and Richelieu"? I have a copy of a book with this title which gives Alexandre Dumas as the author, translated by John Taylor Sinnett and published in 1853. It is quite clearly a translation of 3M, and my guess is that it was originally published with the alternative title in installments. Any information or comment would be greatly appreciated.
