Sometimes I get so comfortable lying down when I read that I can't stay awake too long and drift to sleep before I've done much reading. A little weird, but does anyone else have a "problem" with this. Does anyone purposefully not read in a really comfortable position to avoid drifting off?

I love falling asleep while reading! I consider it one of the little pleasures that make life worth living. :)

If its a book I'm not enjoying (i.e. I have to read it for my studies), then I tend to find a nice, hard chair to sit in, specifically to avoid nodding off...

It really depends on the book: if it's interesting enough I do not fall asleep as I just have to read on to figure out what happens :D If not, I am either very tired already or only reading the book to have something to do and letting my mind slip in the mean time.

I do not think it will really help for me to go sit in an uncomfortable position, as either my feet will go to sleep (you know that tinkling feeling?) or I'll fall asleep anyway as I can sleep almost everywhere. I just need to be tired enough.
