Lew Wallace - Ben Hur

Of late I have been doing more online reading here as opposed to using the library and I got in the mood to read Ben Hur and lo and behold was amazed it wasn't here for my personal convenience. Of lesser note was also wanting to read Owen Wister's The Virginian and it too is in the land of the lost.

I was about to reply and say that novels can only be online if they were published before 1924 (I think or thereabouts) and therefor Ben-Hur could not apply. But I looked it up and found to my incredible surprise the novel was published in 1880. I had not realised it was that old.
