Hi everyone - I am offering the chance for some of you to get a free podcast (your story, read by me):

My hobby is music/audio, and my wife is a writer (Artemis Greenleaf). Podcasts are audio files which are downloaded to peoples Ipods, or simply heard from a website.

Over the last 6 months or so, I have been helping my wife with creating some online "audio content", and honing my skills. The latest podcast I made for her is available at the following link :

Basically I have caught the "bug" and would like to do more story-type podcasts - Which means , if you are interested, I will create a podcast of your story.

Here is what I am asking for if you would like an audio podcast -

1 ) Please send me a link to where I can read your short story (~500-2000 words approx) - or post it below if this is how this forum works

2 ) Please send me a link to your web page, where you would host the podcast - I am mainly interested in creating a podcast that you (as a writer) would host on your site, so that I can link to it and build a portfolio of work that I can link to

3 ) Let me read your story, and if I like it I will email you and create a FREE mp3 file for you. If you want to have a "theme tune" type thing (as with the example podcast) I can use any one of the songs I have written - many of them are hosted at:

I am literally doing this for fun -so naturally I am looking for stories (of any genre) that catch my eye and challenge my reading skills - All you have to do is (hopefully) like what I do, and host it on your website for others to enjoy

Hi there, I'm really happy to find someone else whose interested in literary podcasts. I love spoken word radio, especially drama and readings. If I had to choose between spoken radio and TV I would drop TV without hesitation.
Maybe we need to set up a discussion string about podcasting etc.
I'm also really interested in the technical side of it all , I strive to make the audio sound as good as the BBC, and the best of NPR?
I've never really used a forum before, so I'm not sure how to set up a discussion thread, but I'll give it a go.
Let me know how you're getting on with getting people interested in taking up your offer.
Ps I have a video and audio podcast that is features and interviews of local and visiting authors.
