Forever - poem

This is one of my older ones from like two years ago, it would be nice to know what guys think of it. I think it's a whole lot different from what I write now :P

You build me up
You knock me down
You have me doing the run around
Crowded streets
They fade away
As I think of you
Day
To
Day
To you I may be dead
But you still persist in my head
For the reason
When your near
You take away my most dire fears
You snatch them from the air
And like my angel
You take me there
Up high
helping me to fly
And that's why
To me
you'll never die
I'll love you
Until you're forever satisfied
