I'm nearly finished with the last book. Great series...

Anybody here wondered if Eragon would be able to take the energy from a flame and store it in his belt/ring??
Just a theory I was wondering about.

Interesting. From what I remember of the books, I don't see why not.

Eragon can't store energy from flames, or any other source of energy, because there is no spell that can allow him to do so. Oromis tells him this in the second book. He says that "logic says that it can be done, but nobody has yet devised a spell [to do it]". Good idea though.
