That man is a little bit of God, and a little of Devil is something all of us understand.

We have plenty of myths, legends to approve of the idea that man is a little bit ethereal, celestial divine. This is ensued by another fact that man is a beast in disguise.

But divinity in man is un-manifest and beastliness is always in full swing. We see acts of terrorism, violence, aggressions, invasions growingly.

When we are in a state of fulfilment whether it comes to material or psychological needs our divine state becomes manifest. We start acting saintliness, and the devil in us is asleep at the side.

But I see man is devilish now all the time. In our acts, demeanour devilishness is manifest. We speak about love, but mostly in reality come across hatred, envy.

It seems love is the product of fairy tales and in reality man wants to reserve his space on earth. Maybe we are perpetually in conflict or in struggle for existence.

Blaze, I think that man is just as he has always been. No worse. Evil sells newspapers. Not too many people would buy a paper full of people taking food to sick neighbors or kids sneaking into a widow’s yard to pick up limbs and mow. That stuff still happens. If you don’t see it you should probably get busy!

Evil sells newspapers.

That's a sad indictment on humankind on its own, though.

I agree with your point and I'm forever pointing out to people that no newspapers have this front page:

Couple celebrate 13 years of happy marriage.

Kid gets great marks at school and scores excellent job.

Kid mows old lady's lawn for free.

Work party uses all-cab travel to avoid drunk driving.

Erm, I prefer to at least always try to look for the good. If you look for something you are more likely to find it.
