I've always wondered, (at least for the past few months) where do you look at somebody when the're talking to you? Duh, the face; most people reply. But, where in the face? In the eyes. I can't look at both eyes at once! And I don't want to be looking back and forth at there face eye to eye... They would end up asking me why I was looking around there face.
What would I answere, 'I was trying to figure out where I should look at your face.' Some people may think I'm crazy. (Of course it might seem crazy I bring up a subject like this one.)

If any person could answere this question (and give a goood answere, that is) I will be very satisfied.

hahhaha, I know what you mean. When I was at PHC I was dancing with someone and we weren't making much conversation but we were dancing and I had no idea where to look. Over his shoulder? At his eyes? -- but that would be odd if we're not making conversation...

But in conversation it is a little bit easier. Look at one eye for a while and see if it won't naturally flip back and forth while you're talking...if that makes sense...:D

No one can look at both eyes at once.

I tend not to even notice where I'm looking, unless it's an uncomfortable conversation; then I'll become self-conscious and not know where to look, like you.

If looking at both eyes at the same time is not possible, then look at one eye at a time. It would be very much like saying "If you're talking I'm paying attention, a bit to your left and a bit to your right".

I look direct at the eyes.. i guess that is how we say i am listening to what u say !
other than that .. then u r not.. and besides when u talk to someone u should look at the eyes to prove that u r confident about ur saying !

sometimes this may cause a problem for me especially when i lose my concentration on what the speaker is saying because of various reasons.

I noticed that when the speaker is saying something that doesn't really matter (small talk, stupid gossip, etc.) I look right at them (usually at their right eye) but when they're saying something important I don't look at them at all (I usually look down at the table or up at the ceiling). It works for me.
