After not posting here for a while, here's one inspired by read write word #13 (http://readwritepoem.org/2009/03/30/read-write-word-13/). Enjoy!
My Thoughts Gather (http://thinkingcities.blogspot.com/2009/04/my-thoughts-gather.html)
My words, mingling
In multitudinous corridors,
Variously exuberant, withdrawn,
Thrilled, and confused;
Wander about, seeking release
In grave halls, flickering
With the light of burning
lamps; or in wild lanes,
Chased by forms and shapes
Mysterious; but always kindly
Pausing, allowing swiftly-
Drifting thoughts to taste
And savour each exquisite
Enunciation, stratifying layers
Of meaning, each resting
Until drawn by an artist
Together, under the glaze
Of a glassy vista. I see
Congealed, a porcelain
Form: little grains of light
Sparkle in the smooth,
Interlinked tapestry. Each gem
A thought, each word
Satisfied, each stanza refined,
Each creation treasured.
