How did you come about this site and what makes you keep coming back?
I met a member on another forum and was invited here.

Are you happy with the way things are here?
Yes, I enjoy the site and discussions..especially the games section

Have you visited other countries than your own and what did you like about it or not like? If you could live somewhere different from where you live now, where would it be and why?
I have lived my early life in Chile, then back to the states, I've been to Europe twice, and fell in love with Paris..love all the old churches and castles in Europe...a fav. memory was Easter Services at Canterbury

Do you have any pets?
a 17 year old Basenji dog, a 18 year old cat and 3 younger cats plus a lizard...

What makes you happy?
My family and my music

What is mankind's biggest achievement, and its greatest downfall? advances in science and medicine and the downfall is the continuation of war in the world

If you had a long day of hard work ahead of you what music would you be playing on your mp3, while working?
Probably Blues or Jazz, Coltrane, Allman Brothers, Elmore James...too many to name...

If you could take one book, music album and one video with you to a desert island, what would they be?
Lord of the Rings for the book, Hundred Year Hall from the Grateful Dead or Dylan's Blood on the Tracks for music, Video would be much harder to choose..a comedy...laughter is the best medicine...

Do you feel comfortable in your walk with God?
Yes, we have come to an understanding in my search for faith.

Which actor should play you in a movie based on your life?
Sam Elliott whom I've been told I resemble highly...Although I don't see it, maybe its the voice and the grey hair...

Given the option, what animal would you choose to be?
A cat...independent yet loving

What were your favorite things to do the past?
I used to white water raft and did lots of backpacking.What about now? Now I'm a little more calm in life...a strong cup of coffee

What makes you feel great about yourself?
Raising a strong willed daughter.

Who inspires you most? (Anyone you know or not. Family, friends, authors, artists, leaders, etc.) Which qualities inspire you, in each person?
People that have overcome handicaps to excel in life.

If you had to teach something, what would you teach?
Actually taught Science and Computers when I was a teacher.

What would you regret not fully doing, being or having in your life? following through with my music degree...oh well

Have had many professions,farmer, construction worker,Science teacher and others, at this stage in my life, I'm the Head Circulation Clerk/Head of the Interlibrary Loan Dept. at a mid-size public library

What would you like to be if you could change your profession?
A Blues musician... :)

Least favorite book/song/movie?
anything by Melville, a college course ruined my enjoyment of his works....too many songs and movies to name.

The most generous thing you have done?
I try to do random acts of kindness every day if possible.

My deep voice.

A few less wrinkles, oh wait those are just laugh lines.... :lol:

mostly happy now in my life

Had a life changing experience a few years ago after a very bad car wreck, which made me prioritize the things that really matter in my life....

anything that brings me happiness.

Right now, my daughter and un-official son-in-law, my pets and my hobbies.

As for Little Wing, dear me, YES! Doesn't matter who is doing that Hendrix tune, it is a moving piece for sure.
