Will of the Mind

I find myself lost
Among the streets
The wooden planks supporting me
Seem to fade away
And shrink.

I look for my friends
But they’re all gone.
Victims of authority, popularity.

I see the end,
It seems grim.
I resist the urge,
But the will cannot be bent.

Death is not an option;
It is the redemption of the mind;
It is the suffering of lives;
It our creator;
The one that is never destroyed.

It calls for me.
It yields the will of a thousand minds.
It forces me, it twists me, it forums a cage of steel.
Restricting, holding, binding me.
I cannot move.

Nothing I could, would, and can do.
But to fulfill the wishes,
Of the mind.

Whaddya think?

It's very musical, I think, and it flows nicely. The opening verse is great. You know, the whole thing reminds me a bit of a song by U2 "Where the Streets Have No Name".
Btw: a cute cat :D
