Van Gogh died the other day
one shot
into Auvers, a shot
burst into the light
of winding wheat, one shot
in the Van Gogh's head
the wings of crows scaring the blue.

I like your unusual topic, and in particular the last line, "the wings of crows scaring the blue."

I have to say the title caught my eye right away. A rather interesting poem indeed. I like how you incoperated the imagery of his paintings

And I second Muse's thoughts - the imagery is wonderful. An excellent way to capture the subject of the poem! (And hey - your signature! :D)

Another one well done, JT. I only suggest getting rid of 'undulating.'

Thanks for all. jon1jt: I appreciate the correction. «Undulating»: I replacing by winding wheat. Better?

JT, I really like the edit and use of some alliteration. Very smooth and polished. Fantastic. :thumbs_up
Heh, at first I thought it would be about the Dutch filmmaker.
