Central themes

Hey people. Im up for a pretty important in-depth study which shall be presented in a couple of weeks. Issue: "central themes in Franz Kafka's authorship". I just realised that I might be over my head in this one, as Kafka, if you ask me, seems to be deep as the pacific ocean. If some of you could be so kind as to provide me with a certain insight, (Im not asking for a deep evaluation as it would probably would take weeks), or just your own impressions regarding the works of this mysterious atuhor, I would really appriciate it.
