Richard Weaver in his essay, Up From Liberalism starts with this sentence:
"There is a saying by William Butler Yeats that a man begins to understand the world by studying the cobwebs in his own corner."
I thought that I have a reasonable familiarity with Yeats yet I find I can't track down the reference in his work. A bit of help would greatly be appreciated. Perhaps the citation is not as direct as I am expecting?
