I was visiting the Antiquarian last Friday and I met Thomas E. Kennedy, a New Yorker who is also quite an established writer

Lars, the shop owner, was commenting Nabokov's Lolita, which I accidently found on the floor. He said, 'No, you didn't find it by accident!' He was telling me about the movie version and Kennedy jumped in to the conversation, telling more stuffs about the book and the movie. He asked me whether I'm a writer, in which I shyly answered, 'No, I'm just an amateur reader.' We end up talking about other stuffs, including New York, Copenhagen, Danish women :p, Andy Warhol (yay!), and about my dream of becoming a writer! He also gave me some writing tips. He lives in Copenhagen, not far away from where I live!

Was indeed an unexpected encounter.

Well, I didn't knew him either. Just felt nice to meet a writer and realized he lives not far away from you. :)
