lol, funny, I though she was asking the same old question, 'why Shakespeare/Orwell have their own forums'... well, in the period 'before Author-Book Directory' :)

I guess we think all work and no play makes us a dull boys and girls.

what. I don't really understand what you mean?! This isn't a Shakespeare website, just general author website....and in there are chats on many writers... I'm totally cluless, I don't really know what it is I am talking about...

Well, technically, this is a literature website. But why would that seem out of the ordinary? I think its great to discuss different works and talk to people who are as interested in the written word as I am. It's also great to get another perspective on a work to help you to understand it either better or simply in a different way.

First of all this isn't a Shakespeare website. This is a literature website. Pay close attention to the URL: www.online-LITERATURE.com . Also notice that the Shakespeare forum is just one of some-odd-hundred authors featured.

Second of all, You can go to a site and read one person's opinion about Shakespeare if you like, but isn't it more engaging to... well engage with people and discuss things rather than just reading an online essay? Once you make friends talking about literature isn't it natural to move on and talk about other things? So we have one, ONLY ONE, forum for non-literature topics. Is that so strange?
