Aesop's fables involve anthropomorphic animals which represent not only historical human figures (scholars, poors, ignorants, leaders) but also diachronic characters. For example lions represent the powerful leader, wolves the alogical violence, foxes .. foxiness, frogs the false pride, dogs loyalty.
What else can we perceive in terms of animals symbolism?
