Paper and Ash

I write my soul
on black pages
while inhaling
incense from the
sages, stirred
among the ashes
each has a piece
of myself, writ
upon the smoke
silk waves in
the wind. I
vanish in the ages
between life and
death. Spun on a
crows wing, woven
in gold, falling like
the leaves. My body
decays, but already
planted a seed
held in the eye
of a sleeping
serpent coiled
around a waiting
moon. I wax and
I wane

this part was the best)))))) reminds me of indian philosophy, or am I wrong?
and somehow it reminded me of this quote: paper doesn't burn ;)

Intending no argument with those who singled out their favourite lines, but I found that the whole thing read like a single inspired breath!

I agree with PrinceMyshkin, but I do especially like this:

I
vanish in the ages
between life and
death. Spun on a
crows wing, woven
in gold, falling like
the leaves.

It's all quite beautiful.
