I wrote this one for Read Write Word #11 (http://readwritepoem.org/2009/03/16/read-write-word-11-2/).

Little Lives (Like Stardust in the Ocean of the Night) (http://thinkingcities.blogspot.com/2009/03/little-lives-like-stardust-in-ocean-of.html)

I think glittering stardust begins somewhere on the inside of your eyes:
Little blinking sparkles that catch the light and expound them into

Rainbows.

I think words and eloquence can mean a shining-sea story of life:
An ocean of light that we travel down like the children of kings

Together.

I think journeys bring us over to the shimmering dreamland-light of stars:
Multitudinous suns that find world swirling like mingling souls around

Eternity.

I think joy-filled dances tell a story less about steps and more about life:
Each one beautiful soundings of the inner beauty of lands and

Peoples.

I think people shine like stars in the dancing ocean of lights:
Little lives wandering about like joy-fire sprites blazing on a journey;
Little strings of midnight stars gliding down

Heavens.

I dream little lives like stardust in the eternal ocean of the night.
