First Kiss

Our lips touch in a tremble
sweet warmth courses through me
while anxiously fumbling
heart revs faster then I can keep up
breath halted, stolen, abandoned
as all sense and words flee

Trying to grasp on wanting to flee
all of my nerves set to a tremble
feeling myself fly high in wild abandon
eyes close you take possession of me
as if I were on the clouds floating up
my thoughts being to trip and fumble

Just as your fingers on my shirt fumble
slowly fears and insecurities flee
your arms around me lift me up
with excitement my body trembles
as your hands start to caress me
so all doubts I soon abandon

And our clothing is discarded and abandoned
now awkwardly my clumsy limbs are fumbling
your voice working to reassure me
into growing intensity I am fleeing
yet you now hesitate with a tremble
in a last minutes doubt start to rise up

Out to you my arms stretch up
whispering in your ear not to leave me abandoned
against your skin warm breath trembling
our lips again meet as your tongue on mine fumbles
from the outside world together we can flee
your smile and ease back down onto me

Your warmth once more captures me
my heart again speeds up
from all our problems a moment we flee
at last everything that held us back we abandon
raggedly my breath starts to fumble
and all of my flesh is left trembling

For me this moment will not be abandoned
up to the sky I gaze while my emotions are fumbling
Fleeing into my memories each thought causes a tremble
