Not to cause waves but how can Star Wars and Star Trek be all inclusive?

The Original ST is way different from TNG much like the new Star Wars is way different than the old stuff.

Besides how can I choose between the two, it's like your asking me which of my children are my favorite. OK, I don't have any children, but I think my point has been made!

I go for Starwars, but I'm not big on the new ones. I really only want to see this last new one for the sake of the story. The original three are definately better, imo.

I share papayahead's concerns. If the Star Wars option wasn't all inclusive (that is, if it referred to the original trilogy only), I would've casted my vote for it. The same for Star Trek, apart from the New Generation series (and maybe Deep Space Nine), I dislike all the other stuff.

Stargate, thanks Stan ;), though I prefer Stargate SG-1 to Stargate Atlantis :D, though it's ok... they have some more advanced gizmos though... like the 'gate for example :goof:

When I was a kid (millenia ago) I used to faithfully tune in to 'Time-Tunnel'....the poll had an option that was close enough to this......

Spaceballs as sci-fi? How very civil to include this movie in the poll. This is the only one I have watched (over and over and over, smoke em if ya gottem)
I have seen the first Star Wars years and years and well, ya know, ago.

Space Balls should not even be there! Come on! Space balls is SPOOF! Thats like saying Spyhard is my favourite Spy movie, or Spinal Tap is my favourite documentry, or funions are my favourite potato chip, or twizzlers are my favourite licorice, or TV is my favourite book, or Barbra Striesand is my favourite singer/actress, or tofu is my favourite meat, or .... BRGGAHH!!! :mad: :mad: :mad:

And furthermore, Spaceballs isn't nerdy, there are no spin offs, or cults, or convensions, or people anylising the physics of, or multi-million dollar prequils, or fan fiction, or endless novel serieses (serii :confused: ?), or camp-out premiers, or special editions, or boxsets. Hell, you can waltz into Wal-Mart and get the DVD for five bucks!

tech wars is pretty good, the movies are based off books by William Shatner, and Ice pirates is just a cool, futuristic pirate movie, and due to the future water shortage they hunt for water!

I was suprised that somone else has heard of it actually :thumbs_up

oh I couldn't list my fav. lines in spaceballs, I would just about recite the whole script!
