How often do they write your name?
_____________________________
In this cold place called space,
I know that your sea is warm.
I’ve known a whole lot of wise people, scribes,
intelligent beings, here and everywhere, but still
the question is….
How often do they write your name?
how often they whisper your song?
how often are the religious people pray for light?
If all the stars can be counted in the galaxies one day
I’d still want to count yours
for they shine in this broad daylight
but
How often do they write your name,
on the heavenly bodies,
on a clean silvery water
tell me how often do they write your name?
when the tempest comes
when the sun walks its way on this earth
please tell me
how often do they write your name?
how often do fires in the forest make a spirit dance?
I want to dance with the firefly’s
sing with all the crickets that sing during the night
hop onto rocks just like frogs
catch every dandelions in my palm when it swings
but
please
how often do they write your name
in the rolling clouds?
how often do they write your name in the
rain?
please
how

I would, I can

I can only promise love that means forever...
I can only say I love you.. if you do too...

I will remember, her laughter and giggle...
but old folks says.. she's the sky.. and I'm just a dirt from the earth...
but as my tears fall... I know atleast I can dream
that I can make my kite and fly it on a rainy day..
even it would fail to reach the clouds..
at least I tried to love...

don't stop... learning to fly a kite in the rain...
here I am again in my madness, but I know
I wouldn't stop to say no
to fly a kite in the rain..
I know that a stone would float on water...

when I was just a child... the roofs of my neighbors house
is my heaven...
rainy days are my holidays...
but I know I wouldn't say no
to fly a kite in the rain...
here I am in my madness, that some say is
a punch to the moon..

Here I am getting old... ready to stand firm on my belief
that a stone would float on water
and a kite would fly in the rain....
and love shall conquer everything....

Wonderful tribute to your loved one! But there are a few grammatical errors I'd like to point out:

how often do they whisper your song?

how often are the religious people pray for light?
should be "how often do..."

on a clean silvery water
should be "on the..."

I want to dance with the firefly’s
should be "fireflies"

catch every dandelionsshould be "dandelion" singular

please
how

And I would omit these last two lines, as they are sufficiently implied by everything that came before them - and that was lovely, sincere, passionate!
