Blue Shirt
You’ve asked me to describe
the singular moment that
I vanish and you become
a voyeur caught in the act
so I’ve put on your blue shirt, only
fastening the middle three buttons
(because I know you like me to
wear it that way).
The truth is - the moment is not poetic as
the blush of a rose.
The truth is, I feel nothing externally.
Not your hands or your mouth,
the outer body rapaciously
seizing
to contain the riot within.
Jackhammer spinal injections;
an empyreal sequence of current
and exquisite pulsing pain...
I’ve unfastened the last three buttons.

Makes me think of the Pussycat Dolls' "Loosen Up My Buttons"
I agree with Silas about having a loose collar on this one. Lucky I'm wearing a T-shirt (not that you asked what I was wearing )
Well done poem. It had an intriguing title and certainly followed through in its content. So this would be PG-19?

^^^^ What colour is it? http://www.websmileys.com/sm/evil/teu58.gif:lol:
Considering South Park and The Simpsons, I'd say it comes in around PG-7! http://www.websmileys.com/sm/cartoon/1217.gif

Wow, I missed this yesterday. Quite arrousing. :D
The heart of the poem was outstanding:
The truth is - the moment is not poetic as
the blush of a rose.
The truth is, I feel nothing externally.
Not your hands or your mouth,
the outer body rapaciously
seizing
to contain the riot within.
Well, done. Could have come out corny but it didn't. :)
Now I wonder if I can talk my wife into just a blue shirt tonight.
