I still find myself drawn to those timeless classics! It's a huge treat to share books from your childhood with your own children.

"You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself, any direction you choose."

Thank you Doc!

My personal favorite is "One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish". . . read it to my daughter last night, in fact.

Dr. Seuss, the Poetry Santa, gives gifts of poetry and rhythm to every child.

Not only did the good Dr. help me to learn to read, I believe he helped me develop an odd sense of humor and deep appreciation of meaningful silliness AND he developed my skill of memorizing text. I knew Green Eggs and Ham by heart when I was five. We miss you, Dr. There'll never be another Yuw.
