Hello everyone, I am new to these forums, and i have a question:

Before coming here, I have posted my poetry on poetry.com. I recently received a letter from them saying that it would be published in one of their anthologies. I did some research, and I am confused. Some people here say that they have never received the book(s) that they have ordered, but there are people on amazon.com who say that they own copies of them. So I guess my question is:

Has anyone who was chosen to be published in an ilp book ordered a copy and received it?

Your assistance will be greatly appreciated

Hello, meg82, welcome to the forum. Unfortunately, many, many readers and poetry writers, including myself, have contributed to the popular contest at poetry.com.
I apologize.
These two threads contain some valid information:

Popular belief is that poetry.com is, if not a scam of the unsuspecting , then a shoddy attempt at having you by a book containing 'Your' poem, but of course your poem is probably only in the copy that you have PURCHASED!!! Best of luck though, and don't let the 'Fly-by night' publishers disappoint you. Hope to see your poety here in the forums and elsewhere in the publishing world.....
