Hello,
I'm trying to remember the author of a (I believe Russian) short story that I once read and enjoyed for a class. I thought it was written by Gogol or Babel, but after tireless googling I can't find any results. My memory is hazy, so bear with me.
The plot involved two young men smoking (I believe marijuana). There was some discussion about the existence of tiny bugs in the plant that essentially got smoked and produced the high. Eventually they are chased by police and take shelter in a tube-shaped object, only to find that they themselves are being smoked, thus mimicking the aforementioned "marijuana bugs."
If anyone knows this short story and can share who authored it it would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
