Depressing

This is depressing folks. Lang, and maybe the Grimm brothers, are the ENTIRE reason we were able to grow up with tales like Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty. And here I am, back 4 years later, as a registered user no less, and still NO ONE hath commented on the epicness that is Lang? Or the fairy tales????

I completely agree. Iam new here and am shocked at the lack of Lang worshipery. I grew up reading lang and grimm stories and when i am feeling particularly down i still do. Fairytales might be the best form of writing ever and have influenced probably everyone in the western world.

One of my favourites is Bluebeard.

Oh man, I need to come on these forums more obviously, I still say that Andrew Lang is one of the best authors. I have an old worn out copy of The Green and Yellow fairy books. And the rest are on my nook.
