Why people choose to love themselves, self praise or want that others sing and dance in praise of them?
Man wants to be God, and all his endeavours, spiritual endeavours are directed towards realizing his self.
Everyone is a narcissist. Some people are manifestly and others
non-manifestly.
Man choosing to do all social, charitable, benign, altruistic things plant their core essences in self fulfilment and I often times choose to borrow from Nietzsche that even his logics have their origins in the fulfilment of their desires.
Love, romance and the rest of things first fulfil their self-centred motives. And the rest ensue after that.
