Hello everybody
We are a group of students from Aalborg University, Aalborg, Denmark.
As being students here, we have access to an audio system called "Ambisonic", which basically gives the user an authentic 3d sound experience.
Currently we are working on a project which will allow the user of the Ambisonic system to experience a short story "first hand" through sound effects and dialogue.
This story should not play as a static timeline, the user willl be wearing different sensors to affect the plot of the story to a certain degree. These sensors could measure biological functions like:
Heart beats
brain activity
perspiration
movement
muscle contractions etc.
Right now we have the required equipment, we have the technical skills to make it work, but we don't have a good story.
The story we are searching for should match the following criteria:
5-10 minutes long.
Environment should be unknown, but still recognizable. (fx a jungle scene)
The user should have a passive role in the story that doesn't require much movement.
Between 2-4 other characters
Detailed events that should be able to be reproduced as audio
This short story can either be an original story or a classic rewritten.
If anyone of you have any ideas, please post them, we would like to hear them. :D
