Don’t listen to commands.
I play my game
Of hide and seek,
Me against the world.
It hides, I seek, I find.
I hide, I run.
The world has
No place for me
People don’t like my act,
My act of insanity
They fear.
I say what I think
And you can’t surprise me
I expect everything,
And nothing.
I don’t have standards,
I do as I please.
I don’t live in the prison
Society needs.

Very impressive! The analogies you use of 'commands,' 'hide and seek,' and not living in a 'prison' flow very nicely with the poem's metaphor, and ties in well with the title. My favorites:

Don’t listen to commands.
I play my game
Of hide and seek,

It hides, I seek, I find.
I hide, I run.

I don’t have standards,
I do as I please.
I don’t live in the prison
Society needs.
The last lines, especially =

these lines jumped out at me. i like how they're so individualistic, Helga.
