I just finished playing for a wedding this afternoon, and discovered the origin of the word "honeymoon". The bride and groom had been on a trip to Ireland, and brought back a bottle of mead. Paraphrasing the label, mead is basically fermented honey. Years ago, the bride and groom would toast each other every night for the first month of their marrage; moon to moon. Hence honeymoon!
