Just finish the book not long ago. I really like the atmosphere of the story, the characters and the issues concerned are all very interesting, and I just hope Wolff had further investigated them. I felt the ending was disappointing and unnecessary.
This book touched me especially deep because I am also a student in a creative writing club. Most of the kids in my school doesn't care much about writing, and for a second I was almost envious of the world Wolff painted where writing is such an important thing for everyone. Luckily in our club we're all genuinely friendly to each other, even though we are a very small club ;) (maximum of 10 people)
