Lord, your colors speak to me
in a language, I almost know.

If angels sang my lullaby's,
when curled inside the womb~
that memory would follow birth
seeding life, with Eden's tune.

Gardens wild, and cultivated
serenade dulcet-soulful peace.
I listen, with heart wide open~
harmonizing serenity.

Spring's deep-eyed bulbs rejoicing;
ascending through forest loam.
Inspired, by golden sunshine
nodding vivid-candy heads,
to gentle zephered rhythm.

Cocoons that overwintered
transition to fey butterflies.
Unfolding, drying their~
brilliant stained-glass wings,
catching my breath in awe.

In the exhale of wonder
is a prayer of thankfulness,
for the art of God.
