I am playing Stephono in my high schools production of "the tempest" but im really nervous and i need to figure out how i should go about getting into charater...:crash:http://www.online-literature.com/forums/images/smilies/crash.gif Grrr

I recommend chaotic action with such characters, but the choice is yours.

Look at what your character says about himself for an insight to what he thinks of himself.

Look at what your character says about others and his environment to reveal what he thinks of his world.

Look at what every character says about your character as some filtered perception of the truth.

Write down and categorise all the imagery that your character uses for insight to what kind of person he truly is.

I do this with all the characters I play.
