An interview with Bianca Fransen:

1. How did you come about this site and what makes you keep coming back?
I was looking for a place where I could meet ppl. who love books as much as I do.. and happily I found this site. It meets all my expectations :).

2. Are you happy with the way things are here?
Yes, very :nod:

3. Have you visited other countries than your own and what did you like about it or not like? If you could live somewhere different from where you live now, where would it be and why?
I have visited Great-Britain, Austria, France, Spain, Germany and Italy. I loved going to those countries, but also couldn´t wait to get back home. I get homesick really easy ;). I love other food, another climate, other ppl, great architecture, beautiful nature and nice museums in other countries. If I ever hád to move, I would like to live in London. I love the language, the museums, the people there.

4. Do you have any pets?
No, unfortunatily not

5. What makes you happy?
Being with friends and family and smiling together :D.

6. What is mankind's biggest achievement, and its greatest downfall?
Erm.. I have no idea.. Biggest achievement maybe finding all kinds of ways of communicating with each other. Greatest downfall the way we use differences between people to start hating each other.

7. If you had a long day of hard work ahead of you what music would you be playing on your mp3, while working?
Dutch music always cheers me up and gets me going.

8. If you could take one book, music album and one video with you to a desert island, what would they be?
Garden of Eden by Hemingway as the book, an album of Acda & The Munnik (Dutch duo) and a video of Wim Sonneveld (Dutch comedian).

9. Do you feel comfortable in your walk with God?
Most of the time, yes.. But sometimes I feel I let Him down. Then I try to better my ways.

10. Which actor should play you in a movie based on your life?
Erm.. I would love it if Sandra Bullock would do that :D

11.Given the option, what animal would you choose to be?
A cat.

12. What were your favorite things to do the past? What about now?
Reading, dancing, play acting, talking with friends.. I haven´t changed much during the years, I notice ;).


13. What activities make you lose track of time?
Reading, watching movies, talking with friends

14. What makes you feel great about yourself?
When others smile because of things I do or say.

15. Who inspires you most? (Anyone you know or not. Family, friends, authors, artists, leaders, etc.) Which qualities inspire you, in each person?
My sister Miranda inspires me very much. She has constant energy and never gives up. And she has a great sense of humor.
My dad inspires me too. He is openminded and always sees opportunities.
My sister Danielle inspires me because she is so loving and can handle almost any type of situation.

16. What are you naturally good at? (Skills, abilities, gifts etc.)
I write quite easily for work.

17. What do people typically ask you for help in?
Sometimes they ask my advice.. or they ask me to write something.

18. If you had to teach something, what would you teach?
English to Dutch people (but I would have to study a lot to be able to do so)

19. What would you regret not fully doing, being or having in your life?
I would regret not loving others enough.

20. What song is in your head at the moment?
Here come the man in black - Will Smith

21. The last book you bought/borrowed from the library?´Temple of the winds´ of Terry Goodkind

22. Which book are you reading at the moment?´Temple of the winds´ of Terry Goodkind

23. The last book you finished reading?´The kite runner´ by erm.. I don´t know

24. Favorite food?/ Comfort food?
White beans in red sauce

25. What time of day do you most often find yourself on the LitNet?
Early afternoon

26. What are you wearing at the moment?
Black trousers and a black and silver shirt.

27. Favorite poem?
Don´t know its name.. but one bij Woodsworth.

28. First novel you remember reading on your own?
´Gone with the wind´

Indonesian food in a fine restaurant, last night

Theo, a good friend

36. What do you do (for a living) to be able to keep your LitNet addiction going? And are you happy with your chosen profession?
I am a communication employee and work for a magazine. I love it.

37. What question would you like to ask yourself?
What brings a smile to your face?

38. What would you like to be if you could change your profession?
A full time writer

39. Least favorite book/song/movie?
Tough question. I have to think about it a bit. Might come back to it.

40. The most generous thing you have done?
Step aside when my boyfriend loved another woman.

41. What is your most outstanding feature?
I hope I have remarkable eyes.

42. If you could change one thing about the way you look, what would that be?
My weight. I would love to loose some pounds.

43. Which book do you wish you had written?
Garden of Eden by Hemingway

44. What is your favorite book cover?
Ooh, never much notice them.. but I like the covers of Harry Potters.

45. Most and least favorite characters from books?
Love Richard and Kahlan from the Terry Goodkind-books.
Least favorite: have to think about that.

46. What would your biography be titled?´My friends made it possible´

47. What should you be doing at the moment instead of answering these questions?
Working

48. Wonderful Superman or depressing Batman?
Hehe, depressing Batman

49. The most embarrassing moment in your life?
Walking in school with white pants.. and not knowing I had my period and should have taken precautions. I must have walked around with a large stain for quite some time.

50. Which literary character (s) have you been told to resemble the most?
I wrote my own book - and resemble the main character Angela a lot.. and everyone agreed about that.

51. List some of the things that annoy you immensely.
- people that start talking angrily for no apparent reason
-agression after football matches

52. Anything that you want to forget but you never can?
When somebody was mad with me, I remember that for a long time

53. Tell us about some amusing translation mistake you have heard or made yourself.
?? Would have to think about it..

54. If you had to lose one of your senses, which would you choose and why?
My smell - I really value all my other senses a lot!

55. What’s the first thing you’ll do in an embarrassing situation?
Smile

56. Are you mostly happy with life or are you still in pursuit?
Mostly happy with life.

Female

My friends.

Don´t know all the types, so I can´t really answer this one

I find it interesting you think so highly of Hemingway's Garden of Eden. I have never read it. I must look into it. Oh and if you ever have your book published, you must let us know. I would love to read it. :) Any juicy tid bits about some fellow lit netters? :D
