Hello there!
After many months of using On. Lit. I've finally gotten around to joining up, and I'm so happy to be here!
What with school, study, writing, marriage and work I'm probably always going to be lagging behind but I'm keen to get involved.
I'm a student of Modern European Studies, I research and write a blog on 18th c. lit and work part time on a beautiful city harbour as part of a seaplane crew. I used to work as a cook and still try to cook or bake something most days. Fortunately my husband James is a researcher, so when we spend hours in libraries or on computers, we're still able to spend time with one another and discuss ideas.
Into my life I try (and often fail) to squeeze in friends (tolerably often), a love of thrift and antique shopping (considerably less often), hiking (rare) and reading purely for pleasure (considerably more rare).
