So I dusted off this old VHS tape recently, and in doing so I was inspired to research a book reference - 'How to talk dirty and influence people' by Lenny Bruce, and some of the music, specifically Leonard Cohen (Everybody Knows).

I found both individuals very interesting and was wondering if anyone here had any familiarity with either's work.

More offering the topic for discussion than have anything to say myself atm… hope that’s ok.

Google search will provide a lot of information for those curious.

Leonard Cohen: author, singer, songwriter, painter, sculpter, a great poet (his fame stems from this), sometimes monk, all Canadian boy from Montreal. He is one of my country's favorite sons, both whimisical and taunting, a great sense of social injustice, a tendency to avoid the limelight, he lets his art speak for itself...I'm sure many of the poets on this forum (other people as well) would enjoy his work, his angst, his truths....
