it’s a fine time for a line-
break. Mr. Fixit’s being used
from nine to five; when
his cap is back
on its hook
in the hall
the wind would have dropped;
the sun, cooled. The hedge
is unemployable: sharp-
clawed, berry-black.

I'm not a great one for jokes like this, but this was done nice and quietly and the rhythm and the description of the hedge make it work beyond the pun.

I agree 100% with blp. Wonderful wit throughout this and carried out so gracefully! We'll see more from you I expect (and hope).
