dark clouds gathering over my head.
all i want is to be home in my bed.
its freezing and im shivering with fear.
it would be great to just have one pint of beer.
scared of death trying to survive.
and at the end i just hope im alive.
people are ill, and everyone has lice.
in so much pain coz ive been shot twice.

jam butties are what i mostly eat.
just wish i could have a abig piece of meat.
big rats surrounding the field.
it would be great to just have a massive sheild.
my trench foots killing me as days go on.
ive lost my closest friend his name is ron
i know this is a great achievement in my life
but please let me make it through for my children and wife. :(:(:(
