June, my dear
in whom is the best of man
we will run away from here
and dance in distant land
So endless is our love
as bound as the cosmic ocean
the angels sing us a tune
and we fly with doves
I and my June
Your eyes reflect the moon, stunningly bright
like the stars revealing heaven's light
your hair waves and glissens as the sea
and makes my life like my dreams
It is you, my queen
who gives me escape
from life we may live
whilst we are awake
June, My love
we will live and die together
and away from this Earth
we have stars and oceans forever

-T'was the early morning before I awoke
when the bells and birds aroused my sleep
a new day embraces our town
as I look out my window at the golden street
-The cold air kisses my face
beneath the deep blue skies
whilst I shield my glance
from the venders who sell modesty and lies
-And it was there that I was to stop
before the curious little girl
whom peered from behind a chapped face
flushed with a studious expression
-"How do you do sir" she asked
I hid my face as though she were the sun
managing a smirk, I relieved:
"how do you do young one?"
-With haste I began to move on
"I cannot stay, allow me to go my way"
and from a distance I heard her say:
"is that why you're so sad?"
-T'was before my dues were done
that I beheld the poor boy
with the dirty face and rotten teeth
and despite the sight, I remained coy
-"Sir, have you any to spare?"
After a pause, I shuffled reluctantly
to produce a coin
and with hands wrung of innocence
he took it out of my hand
as though fascinated by its appearance
-Under the starry night
my feet guided me home
over the bricks and stone
fixed eternally through the heart of the square
-And then I made it rain
as I stared down the endless expanse
I had been down that road
and I know that's not where I want to be

A couple of nods to a few authors in here. Cool points to who can see them.
